Shinken Yuugi! THE Battle SHOW is a battle-variety program where idols and talents face off in serious competitions. The show features two teams, the Idol Actor Army led by Snow Man’s Miyakawa Ryota and Key to Life’s Inoue Sho, and the Variety Entertainer Army led by Gekidan Hitori and Ano. The teams compete in various games, including "Ninja Slash Panic", "Kakehiki Achi Muite Hoi", and "Gocha Moji-san ga Naranda". The teams are made up of six members each, with the Idol Actor Army consisting of Miyakawa Ryota, Inoue Sho, Saito Kyoko, Suzuki Shuta, Tsunoda Royu, and Nakao Aoi, and the Variety Entertainer Army consisting of Gekidan Hitori, Ano, Abarearu, Kondou Haruna, Daigo, and Nakazawa Yuji. The show also features a special system called "Sakurai Chance", where host Sakurai Sho can participate as a helper for one team.
