Kasuga Takao, a second-year middle school student, feels trapped in his daily life, finding solace in Charles Baudelaire’s poetry, Les Fleurs du mal. His life takes a dramatic turn when he impulsively steals the gym uniform of his classmate, Saeki Nanako, whom he admires. However, the incident is witnessed by Nakamura Sawa, the class troublemaker, who proposes a "contract" to Kasuga, controlling and tormenting him with her twisted demands.
