Kasuga Takao is a second-year middle school student who feels trapped in his daily life, finding solace in Charles Baudelaire’s poetry collection, Les Fleurs du mal. His life takes a dramatic turn when he impulsively steals the gym uniform of his classmate, Saeki Nanako, whom he secretly admires. However, the incident is witnessed by Nakamura Sawa, the class troublemaker, who proposes a "contract" to Kasuga, using the incident to manipulate and control him. As Kasuga becomes entangled in Nakamura’s twisted demands, his life begins to spiral out of control.
